2019 Dow Tennis Classic champion Caty McNally kept up her Midland magic in the second round on Thursday as she raced past another top American junior, a role the Cincinnati, Ohio native was in not too many years ago, winning 6-0, 6-3 against an over-matched Elvina Kalieva in just 66 minutes to book her spot in the quarterfinals here in Michigan.

Wednesday at the Dow Tennis Classic saw quite possibly the tournament’s most impressive performance of the week so far and it was no surprise who it came from: the top seed and 2018 Midland champion Madison Brengle.

Day two at the Dow Tennis Classic saw an action-packed Order of Play featuring a plethora of young American talent with one of the US’ brightest young stars, Caty McNally, headlining the slate.

Monday was a special day at the Greater Midland Tennis Center as professional tennis officially returned to Midland for the first time in over 18 months with day one of the Dow Tennis Classic kicking off.

Five top 100 players are among the players who have entered the 33rd edition of the Dow Tennis Classic that will take place November, 1-7.
