Player Field Announced for the 2022 Dow Tennis Classic
MIDLAND, Mich. (Oct. 5, 2022)
As professional tennis returns to Midland, we are excited to announce the names set to compete in the 34th annual Dow Tennis Classic. This exhilarating event showcases numerous talented professional athletes within the world of tennis. Many of these players have competed in other high-ranking events such as The US Open, The Australian Open, and even Wimbledon. Learn about some of the top players joining us below!
Our lineup includes incredible talent from around the globe! Shuai Zhang, Marta Kostyuk, Caty McNally, and Madison Brengle will all be attending the 2022 Dow Tennis Classic. The field is stacked with competition this year, and it will certainly be exciting to see these amazing athletes battle it out.
This year, our lineup includes incredible talent from around the globe! Zhang is currently ranked #28 in the world, and Kostyuk is currently ranked #56 in singles match play. She has had successful runs in both the US Open, and in Wimbledon.
Caty McNally is our returning 2019 DTC Champion and is ranked #151. McNally has competed in events such as the US Open, Wimbledon, and The Australian Open. Fresh off a victory in Templeton, and on a ten-match winning streak, we welcome back the defending 2021 DTC Champion, Madison Brengle, currently ranked #48 in Women’s Singles.
